We can’t thank everyone enough for a great first season of Almost Famous Enough. Today is the release of episode 16 – and we’re calling it Season One complete!
When we first began with actual plans and goals, we knew this couldn’t begin as a podcast “in perpetuity”, as its not our full-time gig. So we embarked on season one, no one by me (Glen) having an idea of how many episodes was the goal. The goal was 16. But wanted more. Yet here we are at 16, so we’ll take it.
Thank you to the guests who have been gracious with their YES, as well as their time, vulnerability, support and promotion. They have participated in starting us down the path we dreamed of – open conversations, giving space for context, truth, and natural human interaction. They have inspired us, encouraged us, and challenged us.
Thank you to all the listeners and supporters – liking, sharing on socials, commenting, sending us messages like “I wanted to keep pausing to go listen to the songs you were talking about”, or “I feel like we could be friends after listening to his story”, which is actually the highest compliments – because that was the goal in the first place. Tell a story, build a bigger story, and connect to the shared bits of humanity in us all along the way. So thank you.
We’re going to go analyze data, research some tools, talk to other podcasters, and work on getting better. Oh, and lining up more awesome guests from across the country in all different careers. Please stick around on socials and be ready for a Season two announcement!
In between – fun things! Alexi and I are going to create a series of ‘shorts’ on some different music themes, which will appear in the podcast. Looking forward to sharing those and continuing to create together. We hope you like it.
